Tour Package Policies & Service Notes

Travelling to places is an investment in lifelong memories, and Kashmir Tourist Spots Tour & Travels truly understands that. To maintain transparency and ensure you have the best experience, we strongly advise all our guests to read the following terms and conditions carefully.


General Notes

  • The maximum number of sightseeing spots per day is listed; however, some locations may be skipped due to weather, traffic, time limits, road closures, or unforeseen events.

  • Rates are subject to change during peak seasons (New Year, Holi, Diwali, Long Weekends, etc.).

  • Christmas & New Year Gala Dinner charges are applicable as per hotel policies.

  • In case of unavailability, similar category hotels will be provided.

  • Children below 5 years can stay free in their parents’ room without an extra bed or meals. Infant meal/milk charges are payable at the hotel.

  • Standard hotel check-in time is 12:00 noon. Early check-in is subject to availability and additional charges.

  • Children (5-12 years) and adults (above 12 years) are chargeable as per policy.

  • Adventure activities are at your own cost and subject to weather conditions and government regulations.

  • Correct age information for children is mandatory. If found incorrect, appropriate charges will be recovered.

  • Room upgrades, early check-in/late check-out, fresh-up rooms, and heaters are chargeable as per hotel policy.

  • Hotels may charge extra for amenities such as spa, gym, disco, minibar, phone, etc.

  • AC will not operate in hill areas due to performance and safety regulations.

  • No refunds for missed or unused services (meals, sightseeing, transfers, permits, etc.).

  • Guests are responsible for any penalties/damages caused during the tour.

  • Additional charges may apply due to natural calamities, political unrest, government orders, etc.

  • Discounts and freebies are valid for a limited time; regular rates apply after cut-off.


Package Notes

  • All packages are customizable unless mentioned as fixed departures.

  • All discussions should be in writing; verbal communication is not valid.

  • The company reserves the right to make adjustments in the tour for smoother execution due to unavoidable circumstances.

  • Packages are not considered confirmed without advance payment.

  • DND (Date Not Decided) packages must confirm travel dates within 3 months of invoice date.

  • Special upgrades in hotel/room/vehicle may be offered at no extra cost, subject to availability.


Package Costing Notes

  • Any changes, upgrades, or add-ons may attract extra costs.

  • Accurate child age must be informed to avoid re-calculation.

  • Base category rooms will be provided unless specified.

  • Taxi usage is as per itinerary; extra hours or detours are chargeable.

  • Any guest misconduct causing disruptions/damages will be chargeable.

  • Additional charges may arise due to political/natural conditions beyond company control.


Service Notes

  • Only services listed in the booking voucher will be provided.

  • Hotel check-in/check-out times follow hotel policies.

  • Meals are on fixed menu basis; buffet or room service.

  • Transfers must follow the scheduled time.

  • Certain services are subject to weather and seasonal conditions.

  • Complimentary services are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

  • No-shows or unavailed services are non-refundable.

  • Some destinations may have limited infrastructure and older vehicles.

  • Delays or cancellations due to external factors (traffic, strikes, natural events) are not the company’s responsibility.

  • Additional services under such circumstances are chargeable.

  • Complaints must be raised within 7 days of tour completion.


Documents Note

  • Identity proof and payment receipt screenshots are required for booking confirmation.

  • Confirm the voucher within 24 hours of issuance; no changes will be entertained after.

  • Carry all relevant documents (ID proof, flight/train tickets, permits, etc.) during travel.

  • For adventure activities, indemnity bonds may be required; the company is not liable for any related issues.


Payment Policy

  • Kashmir Packages: 50% advance of total package; 50% on arrival.

  • Other States / High-End Hotels: 75% advance; 25% on arrival.

  • 4/5 Star, International, Andaman, Flights/Trains: 100% advance required.


Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • All cancellations must be communicated in writing.

  • Token Amount: Non-refundable but reusable within 365 days via credit note.

  • 31+ Days Before Travel: No cancellation charges (token amount reusable).

  • 15-30 Days Before Travel: 50% cancellation charges of total package.

  • Less than 15 Days or No-Show: 100% cancellation charges.

  • No refunds for unused/missed services.

  • TCS & GST: Non-refundable; can be claimed at ITR filing.
